Most of the tourist areas in Baltimore are safe, but please remember you are in a large city, especially if you leave the tourist areas. The following neighborhoods should be great for touring:

Places to Go Baltimore Area Convention and Visitors Association (BACVA) - You can look online, or request an information packet to be sent to you Harborplace - Shops and entertainment on the Harbor Harbor Pass - Attractions Pass National Aquarium In Baltimore - Christine and I think this the best aquarium out there. Power Plant Live - Group of restaurants and bars that are walking distance from the reception location Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts National Historic Seaport of Baltimore George Washington's Dentures (and a bunch of other stuff relating to teeth and oral hygiene) at the Samuel D. Harris National Museum of Dentistry Eat at Lexington Market, where over 100 vendors exhibit at the 220-year-old food bazaar. They have everything, but its known for its raw bar and crab cakes. See Edgar Allen Poe's grave at Westminster Hall. This former church is now a banquet facility - one of the locations we highly considered for the reception! Take a tour using the Baltimore Light Rail. This Washington Post article tells you where to go.
