David and Christine were married on September 18, 2004 and
live on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC.
We love to travel, drink
wine, and keep up with friends. We hardly watch movies, which must mean
we are out and about more often then we realize. We've also become significantly
more proficient at Scrabble. You can see what we've been up to in the
Photo Gallery.
We originally met in 2001 the office
at GE Global eXchange Services, where we both worked and was assigned
to the same project. We started dated in early 2002, and got engaged on
October 5, 2003. David managed to convince Christine to get up early and
go for a walk under the pretense of exercise. We walked to the Jefferson
Memorial, one of Christine's favorite places in DC. As we were coming
down the stairs, David got down on one knee and proposed. Now its history!
We like to think of ourselves
as 'cute', and those of you who know us well can understand why! We are
that couple who is always holding hands and staring at each other. Christine
was convinced that would end after a few months but even after being married
we are still at it (insert eye rolling from our friends here)!
About Christine
Christine is the sleepy one of the pair. She grew up in Gambrills, MD
and attended Archbishop Spalding High School. She went to college at the
University of Virginia and earned a major in Systems Engineering. After
college, she worked at GE as both a project manager and a Six Sigma Black
Belt (that means math geek and process engineer, not martial arts guru).
She is now working as a Manager at Grant Thornton in Alexandria, VA. Christine
enjoys HGTV and mosaics, but is by no means domestic. If it wasn't for
David, she would eat cereal and pasta for every meal.

About David
David is the 'sneezy' one (come on - you get it, right?). David grew up
in Columbia, MD and went to Wilde Lake High School. David has a degree
in Finance from the University of Delaware. He spent seven years with
GE, most of them at the Corporate office and the last few at GXS in Gaithersburg,
MD. David is now the Director of Marketing for Fidelis
Security Systems, a security software company based in DC. David is
an audiophile, a great cook, and a computer geek (to prove it - he also
owns etue.net and has his own
web site...). He's also quite helpful in locating the nearest emergency
room for Christine when she frequently injures herself on vacation.
